Bapatla: Andhra Pradesh state has experienced rapid development under the leadership of chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and this has enabled the highest average growth in Per Capita Income, YSRCP Rajya Sabha MP and general secretary V Vijayasai Reddy said on Thursday.

Earlier in the day, the YSRCP Rajya Sabha MP along with his party colleagues reviewed the arrangements for the party’s final Siddham public meeting which is scheduled to be held at Medarametla village on March 10, Sunday.

Elaborate stage and a huge ramp is being set up in the village as the party is making every effort to make the upcoming meeting much bigger than the previous meetings held in Bheemili, Denduluru and Rapthadu. The public meeting will take place on a sprawling 200 acres of land.

Speaking to the media, Vijaya Sai Reddy said that Siddham meetings are getting an overwhelming response from the party cadre and the people of the state. He said the party is expecting nearly 15 lakh people to the Medarametla’s public meeting

Explaining the development and welfare initiatives of the state government, Reddy said in the past four years and ten months, over 87 percent families have been benefited through the welfare agenda and policies. Targeting the opposition, he said the state government developed the Ramayapatnam port in a record time and the work on Visakha airport is also progressing well. He asked the people not to get misled by the empty promises of the TDP-Janasena combine.
