Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan is desperate to enter the Andhra Pradesh Assembly and is pinning his hopes on the constituents of Pithapuram constituency. He is also hoping that an influential TDP leader SVSN Varma will ensure his victory in the May 13 elections.

Jana Sena leader’s Nagababu, Jabardasth team Hyper Aadi, comedian Getup Srinu and several others have turned star campaigners for Pawan Kalyan in the constituency. There were also reports that Tollywood actor Varun Tej was organising a roadshow for his uncle Pawan Kalyan.

As if these star campaigners were not enough, Pawan Kalyan is also bringing in his elder brother and mega star Chiranjeevi to campaign for him. The megastar had earlier said that he will not involve himself in politics as he is completely focused on film. As younger brother is struggling to win the Assembly seat, the elder brother could not keep himself away from politics and released a video extending his support to CM Ramesh, BJP candidate from Anakapalli Lok Sabha constituency and Panchakarla Ramesh Babu, Jana Sena candidate from the Pendurthi assembly constituency.

Now, reports suggest that Chiranjeevi will hit the campaign trail in his brother’s assembly constituency soon. YSRCP candidate Vanga Geetha is in direct contest with Pawan Kalyan in the constituency. She is meeting the people and asking them to vote for the ruling party if they wish to see the welfare schemes continue. Even though Vanga Geetha has been in politics for over two decades, she got a break with Chiranjeevi’s Praja Rajyam Party and is now contesting the election against his own brother. As a Praja Rajyam Party leader Chiranjeevi had once appealed to the people to elect Geetha and now he is going to appeal to the voters to defeat her so his brother can win the elections.
