Minister RK Roja strongly refuted APPC chief Sharmila's claims about her dedication to Andhra Pradesh state. Roja questioned Sharmila's sincerity regarding the welfare of Andhra Pradesh by bringing up her past remarks, in which she described herself as a "child of Telangana" for four and a half years.

Roja underscored that Sharmila's absence from Andhra Pradesh during this time frame casts doubt on her understanding of AP's progress. She asserted that rather than demonstrating sincere concern for the welfare of the state, Sharmila's abrupt entry into Andhra Pradesh politics and her older statements demonstrate opportunism and inconsistency. Furthermore, Roja cautioned against Sharmila being manipulated as a pawn in the political agendas of opposition leaders, particularly Chandrababu Naidu and the Congress party. She said that Sharmila is being ridiculed by the people of Andhra Pradesh.

Minister Roja highlighted the achievements of Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's government, particularly in the fulfillment of DSC (District Selection Committee) posts. Roja noted that only CM Jagan's administration had filled 17,000 positions and issued a recent notification for an additional 6,100 jobs, despite TDP leader Chandrababu Naidu having repeatedly failed to fulfill promises regarding DSC appointments in the past.

Roja advised political figures, such as Sharmila and Pawan Kalyan, to desist from making baseless assertions and instead concentrate on productive discourse that serves the interests of the Andhra Pradesh people.
