Latest update on Rajinikanth's upcoming 'Vettaiyan' movie

Kollywood megastar Rajinikanth's highly anticipated upcoming film is titled 'Vettaiyan'. The movie is being bankrolled by the prominent Lyca Productions banner and helmed by director  'Jai Bheem' fame Prem Gnanavel. Reports suggest that the iconic actor will be essaying the role of a former police officer in this project. 'Vettaiyan' marks a significant milestone as it is Rajinikanth's 170th film in his illustrious career spanning several decades.

After completing 'Vettaiyan', the Superstar is set to commence work on his 171st movie, which will be directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and produced by the renowned Sun Pictures. The release of the first look poster, title announcement, and teaser have generated a buzz about 'Vettaiyan' movie which is still a work in progress. 

Now a new update about 'Vettaiyan' is being shared on social media indicating that the film has completed 100 days of shooting. Although this information seems premature, as production has not yet commenced. The film's team is reportedly gearing up for promotional activities, including the release of the audio and trailer, ahead of the planned October release.

'Vettaiyan' boasts of an ensemble cast featuring talented actors such as Dushara Vijayan, Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Manju Warrier, and Rithika Singh in pivotal roles. As Rajinikanth's fans eagerly await the film's release, the hype and excitement surrounding 'Vettaiyan' continue to build in the coming days.
