Tollywood actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu recently made a comeback to the entertainment scene after a hiatus due to health concerns. Diagnosed with myositis, she took a break to prioritize her physical and emotional well-being. Now, she has reemerged with a podcast series called 'Take 20', co-hosted with her friend and health coach, Alkesh Sharotri. On this podcast, Sam recently shared about the physical challenges she had to endure during the filming of the spy series "Citadel: Honey Bunny".

“Take 20” is available on the YouTube channel ‘Samantha,’ where she talks about mental well-being and physical fitness. Through candid discussions and personal anecdotes, she aims to guide her fans and audience towards a path of overall well-being.

In a recent social media post, Samantha shared a glimpse of the podcast's third episode. She openly recounted her struggles, particularly during the filming of projects like 'Kushi' and 'Citadel'.

While filming for 'Citadel, an action series, Samantha had a tough time physically. Once, she got so tired from the intense shooting that she fainted during an action scene and hurt her head. Her friend and health coach, Alkesh Sharotri, recounted the difficult moments they went through.

"There's loads of action, which made it really tough. They would make a ton of calls to you during filming. They'd say things like, 'She's cramping up,' or 'She's having spasms.' I remember one time when I had to do this action scene, and oh God, I just blacked out," Samantha shared on her podcast.

To which Alkesh replied, "You even got a head concussion, and the person training you wasn't great at passing on info. Oh man, those times were just crazy".

Despite the hurdles she faced, Samantha is undeterred and is gearing up for her next project, 'Citadel: Honey Bunny'. This spy thriller series, directed by Raj & DK, is an Indian adaptation of the American series 'Citadel'. Samantha will share the screen with Bollywood star Varun Dhawan, promising an exciting collaboration that fans eagerly anticipate.
