‘Concrete Utopia’ Stills Features Park Seo Joon

The first stills from the upcoming movie "Concrete Utopia" feature Park Seo Joon.

The new disaster thriller "Concrete Utopia" is mostly based on Part 2 of the popular webtoon "Joyful Outcast" ("Pleasant Neighbours") about the aftermath of a severe earthquake. The survivors assemble in Hwang Goong Apartments, the only building still standing in an earthquake-devastated Seoul, where the plot of the film will begin.

The character of Min Sung, played by Park Seo Joon, is a salaryman who is chosen to help Young Tak (Lee Byung Hun), the temporary head of the Hwang Goong Apartments residents, who grows bolder as he faces challenges. Park Seo Joon and Park Bo Young, who will play Min Sung's wife and former nurse Myung Hwa, will also show the natural chemistry of a married couple.

The recently released stills show Min Sung's mixed feelings as he stands at an intersection at the crossroads.

In August, "Concrete Utopia" will be released in theatres.
