Om Bheem Bush features Sree Vishnu, Priyadarshi and Rahul Ramakrishna. The film hits the screens from today. Here's the review of the film:

Story: Krish (Sree Vishnu), Vinay (Priyadarshi) and Madhav (Rahul Ramakrishna) are three friends who venture into the village of Bhairavakona. The locals fear that there is a ghost known as Sampangi in a Palace. The trio enters the haunted place to uncover the treasure hidden in Sampangi Mahal. What happens to the gang? Who is Sampangi? Is there a ghost in Sampangi Mahal for real? Will the gang of the three be able to fulfil their agenda?

Performances: Sree Vishnu's mannerism and style give plenty of laughs. Priyadarshi and Rahul Ramakrishna have never disappointed us both individually and collectively. The three lead actors are perfect show stealers, taking the audience into their world throughout.

Newcomer Preity Mukundhan got a limited role.To put it bluntly, she was wasted in a very eye-candy role. Ayesha Khan is beautiful but her role was short.

Positives:

Sree Vishnu's style and his performance are a big plus.
The film becomes a horror-comedy in the second half.
Priyadarshi and Rahul Ramakrishna's timing.
The social message.
A twist related to a major character.

Negatives:

The climax feels rushed.
A few scenes could have been fast-paced.

Analysis:

'Hushaaru' director Sree Harsha Konuganti finds his mojo. He loves staging youthful comedies wherein the young lead actors are friends who talk in the language of today's social media-crazy youngsters. In 'Om Bheem Bhush', you will find references to popular films, star heroes like Prabhas, and even a passing reference or two to memes.

The first half is spent on conveying the motives of the different characters. Artists like Aditya Menon and his Russian wife, Raccha Ravi and others don't overstay their welcome anywhere.

The climax is not serious although the message delivered is of relevance to today's times. The nature of the story is such that you don't seek logic and yet the narrative is coherent.

Verdict:

No Logic Only Magic is the film's apt tagline. This entertainer is a mix of horror and fun. It's perfect watch for the weekend. Go for it!
