Eggs Thrown at Bandi Sanjay’s Convoy in Warangal

Warangal: Tension prevailed during the Prajahita yatra taken out by the BJP MP Bandi Sanjay Kumar in Warangal on Wednesday. A few unknown miscreants attacked the convoy of Bandi Sanjay with eggs leading to tension in the area. 

As per reports, Karimnagar MP Bandi Sanjay was taking out his Prajahita yatra in the district. As the yatra reached Bheemadevarapally mandal, some unidentified people threw eggs at the BJP leader’s convoy. 

Bandi Sanjay suspected the role of Congress workers behind the incident. Soon after the attack, a large number of BJP workers reached the site of attack and demanded police action against the perpetrators. 

Earlier, supporters of BJP and Congress clashed during Bandi Sanjay’s Prajahita yatra in Siddipet on Tuesday. The BJP had blamed the workers of Telangana Congress for the attack. The opposition alleged that the Congress leaders attempted to stall the yatra with sticks. Subsequently, Bandi Sanjay continued his yatra amid heavy police security in the Husnabad constituency.
