AP CM YS Jagan Congratulates Mining Dept Officials For Winning National Award

AMARAVATI: Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy congratulated officials of the Mining Department on winning the ‘Khanija Vikas’ Award from the Centre for following best practices in exploration, auctioning, and monitoring of mining activities for major minerals.

Paying a courtesy visit to the Chief Minister at his camp office here on Friday, Minister for Mines and Geology Peddireddy Ramachandrareddy, Principal Secretary Gopalakrishna Dwivedi, Director of Mining Department VG Venkata Reddy showed the incentive cheque of Rs 2.4 crore that was awarded by the Central Department of Coal and Mines.

In a recent conference on Mines and Minerals, held in New Delhi, Principal Secretary Gopalakrishna Dwivedi and Director VG Venkata Reddy received the award from the hands of Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
