Leaked video exposes Naidu’s ‘wicked' plan for May 13 polls

As elections are approaching fast, the key opposition Telugu Desam Party is restless and employing every trick in the book to salvage its pride in the May 13 polls. Despite numerous pre-poll surveys predicting a landslide victory for the chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy-led YSRCP, the TDP has devised a plan to influence voters. 

As part of its wicked plan, the TDP leadership is availing the services of its NRI wing. Recently, the TDP NRI wing convened its meeting at the party office to chalk out a strategy to lure the unsuspecting voters with money in the villages. The party’s evil plan was exposed as the video clip of the closed-door meeting has been leaked and being circulated on social media. 

In the viral video clip, the TDP NRI wing coordinator Komati Jayaram can be heard urging the party’s supporters to buy the voters in rural areas to ensure the victory of their party in the elections. 

Jayaram told the gathering that the party has no time to make an elaborate election strategy. He said they have got only a month’s time and during this time they have to identify and woo at least 1,000 needy pro-YSRCP families. He also shared the budget for this assignment and said spending Rs 2-3 lakhs to lure 10 families is not a difficult task.
