Bhimavaram: YSRCP MLA Grandhi Srinivas came down heavily on Jana Sena Chief Pawan Kalyan over his language and behavior while criticizing the state government. Addressing a press conference here on Monday, Srinivas remarked that Pawan Kalyan’s language and provocative statements indicate a symptom of madness.

He likened Pawan’s communication style to that of a “rowdy” and emphasized that Pawan’s mental state is not stable. Srinivas even suggested that Pawan should be examined in a hospital in the presence of his actor brother Chiranjeevi.

Srinivas further criticized Jana Sena leader’s lack of consistent political values and compared him to a color-changing chameleon. He also said the irony is the party has given the ticket to a candidate who had criticized Pawan Kalyan in the past.

Reacting to the Chiranjeev’s support to the TDP-led alliance, the YSRCP legislator said the actor-turned-politician betrayed the people who had believed in him by selling his Praja Rajyam party to Congress for a union ministerial position in the former government. He asserted that Chiranjeevi is purely a commercial person who is supporting Jana Sena Party for the promotion of his upcoming film.

Explaining about the development of Bhimavaram assembly constituency, Srinivas clarified that significant progress occurred between 2019 and 2024. Six acres of land were acquired for a compound yard, and farmers were duly compensated during the YSRCP regime. Anji Babu, who is contesting on behalf of Jana Sena, will not contribute to the development of the constituency, he added.
